Your dream matters

Take writing seriously.

That is my advice for you today, my friends. Take writing seriously.

And what do I mean by that? I mean take your dream seriously, beloved. Don’t discount it just because somebody else might. Whatever dream you have is there for a purpose. It’s there for a reason. It doesn’t matter who is telling you that it’s unimportant or not as important as somebody else’s dream.

So, my dear writing friends, I know it can be hard to think of your dream as needful when it feels like all you do is write, but beloved, it is important. Whatever your dream is, we need it. This world needs the books, the stories, the movies, the food, the art that you want to create. Whatever you are called to do, beloved, God called you. He chose you and that means that not everybody will get your dream. That’s what Terri Savelle Foy always says: God didn’t show them what He showed you! So whatever your dream is, it’s there for a purpose, my dear one. Don’t discount it. Take it seriously. Nobody’s dream is more important than yours.

And that’s all I really have to say for today! (Do you like how that rhymed?) Beloved, rest in the fact that you have a Heavenly Father smiling at you and approving you today.

Remember, you are deeply loved.
